Know where you stand under the EU AI Act in 30 seconds

AI Act Checker classifies your AI system under Regulation 2024/1689, maps the applicable articles, and gives you a concrete action plan. Free, no account.

What is AI Act Checker?

AI Act Checker is a free assessment tool that classifies your AI system under the EU AI Act risk categories: prohibited, high-risk (Annex III), limited risk with transparency obligations, or minimal. Answer 8-12 yes/no questions and receive an immediate classification, the applicable articles, and a concrete implementation plan.

The tool was built by SPAIK based on Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the "AI Act"), in force since August 2024. The output is not legal advice — but it is the fastest starting point to understand where your organisation stands.

Why AI Act Checker?

The EU AI Act runs to 144 articles. Most boards don't have time for that — while the fines reach 7% of global turnover for prohibited practices and 3% for non-compliance on high-risk systems.

Compliance officers use AI Act Checker as a first filter: which AI applications deserve priority, which articles apply, and what's the first concrete step. Product managers use it before launch: is this use case even permitted?

The tool is deliberately free: AI Act literacy shouldn't sit behind a paywall. If you want to go deeper, our AI Boost training includes a full EU AI Act module.
